NEXT GENERATION Fashion Design Challenge, creates a unique opportunity for next generation fashion designers to participate in one of the premiere productions during fashion week in Chicago—NEXT Fashion Chicago 2015.
Open to everyone from fashion design students, fashion design graduates to emerging designers. Designers initially submit an illustration and fabric swatches of one design, along with their personal design vision.
A group of 20 semi-finalists will be selected to create their piece.
From this group 10 designers will be chosen to show their piece on our pro-models during the show for NEXT Fashion Chicago 2015 to include showcasing their original submission materials to all guests in attendance.
All submissions will be juried by an elite group of fashion industry professionals and notable VIP’s. Designers will receive valuable feedback and a chance to participate and experience a professional show environment.
1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winners will be announced live upon conclusion of the show and be presented with cash and valuable prizes that will further enhance their fashion design studies and careers. The entire process will be a memorable and exciting learning experience.
